COOK ONE IRISH POTATO
CUT UP IN ONE PINT OF WATER
DISSOLVE 1 CAKE OF YEAST IN WARM WATER FROM POTATO
LET STAND ALL NIGHT
THEN ADD 1 CUP OF SHORTENING AND 3/4 CUP OF SUGAR, 3 EGGS WELL BEATEN, AND 3 TEASPOONS OF SALT AND 3 QUARTS OF FLOUR
MAKE STIFF DOUGH
PLACE IN REFRIGERATOR AND USE WHEN NEEDED.
