OLD FASHIONED LIGHT ROLLS

1CAKE YEAST
2 WHOLE EGGS
1/2 CUP WARM WATER 1/2 CUP SUGAR
1 CUP HOT MILK
6 CUPS PLAIN FLOUR
2/3 CUP SHORTENING
1 CUP MASHED POTATOES
MIX POTATOES, SHORTENING, AND SUGAR
THEN ADD SCALDED MILK, YEAST, AND WARM WATER
ADD BEATEN EGGS, FLOUR, AND SALT
PUT IN GREASED BOWL AND LET RISE TO DOUBLE SIZE
WORK DOWN AND MAKE INTO ROLLS
LET RISE AGAIN AND BAKE
NO TEMPERATURE OR LENGTH OF TIME GIVEN
